My Education and Experience

I have over 45 years of experience in mental health practice.

Education

BA in Psychology

MSW (Masters in Social Work)

DCSW (Diplomate in Clinical Social Work)


Training

I have extensive training in the following areas:


  • E.M.D.R. (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing)
  • Gestalt Psychotherapy for Children & Teens (Expressive Therapies)
  • School Social Work (Continuing Level ESA, Inactive Status) With experience in regular classroom, special services, play therapy, and alternative school environments
  • Clinical Hypnotherapy (Ericksonian; Inactive Member Status) These techniques are useful for stress & pain management, and guided imagery for healing
  • Coaching for Success; Being Coach; Advanced Coaching (Maria Nemeth, Pd.D. & Associates Training)
  • Jungian/Archetypal Psychology (use of astrology, tarot, and other archetypal formats to access deeper awareness)
